Why you decided to study materials: During my undergrad study, I earned a chance to work in the lab and research on sensing technology applied on concrete. This special experience aroused my strong interest in cement-based materials, non-destructive testing (NDT), and structural health monitoring. I was inspired to study and research more in the graduate school on construction materials especially concrete. Hopefully one day, I can make contribution to the development of cemetitious materials and NDT technology.
